Patient Services

What to Expect

Just like most medical treatment programs there is a carefully developed process, that if followed, will yield optimal results.  At Integrated Wellness, we believe in not only helping our patients heal, but educating them in the process.  To help you better understand the treatment program you will experience, we’ve outlined here just what you can expect as a patient of Integrated Wellness.

Assessment Process

On your first visit you will receive a complete assessment including, postural, spinal palpation, trigger point mapping, muscle strength testing, orthopedic and neurologic testing as needed, lab test as needed, x-ray analysis as needed.  We will always discuss finances with you before we perform any services.  If we can’t help you we will not waste your time or your money.  We will refer you to a provider suitable for your condition.  So, when you come into Integrated Wellness, you have nothing to lose.  If we can’t help we will find someone who can.

6-Step Treatment Process

We will give you an in-depth report of all the testing we do so you know the why behind what we prescribe for your care.  You will be introduced to our advanced six step process if we determine that we can help.  These six steps address things like, nutrition, muscle spasms and tightening, exercises that warm up deep spinal muscles and soft tissue, chiropractic, Pettibon body weighting system, and exercise to strengthen the core muscle to create a long lasting treatment. These six steps include the following areas of focus:

  1. Hydration & Nutrition – This step provides the body with cell cleansing and rejuvenation, as well as a life source to the body for enhancing spinal and overall health.  It also supplies the body with the essential nutrients for building tissue strength to reduce and/or prevent inflammation.
  2. Muscles & Overall Frame Support – This step relieves muscle spasms, stress, and tension in the body and helps heal old injuries.  It also increases ease of movement for greater flexibility and strength.
  3. Ligaments & Joint Support – In this step, the patient experiences a softening of discs and ligaments necessary to ease spinal structural change.  This also pumps water and nutrients into the spinal discs for spinal rejuvenation and relieves stress and tension in the back and neck while adding strength and flexibility.
  4. Spinal Decompression & Adjustment – This step initiates healing of the body by changing spinal structure and promotes full spine motion to accelerate spinal structural change.  In addition, it initiates energy to the body which increases overall optimal health.
  5. Post-Adjustment Rehabilitation – Step five is vital for strengthening the body to hold the new spinal structure and enhance healing of spinal and overall optimal health.  Patients also experience increased balance and coordination.
  6. Spinal Molding & Exercise – This step is responsible for molding new spinal curves for greater strength and relieves stress and tension on the spinal cord for better energy flow.  Spinal ligaments and discs are supported and strengthened to be able to hold healthier spinal structure and the new curves.
