Dr. Randy E. Woodward, DC, CCEP

SOUTH JORDAN OFFICE

“Dr. Randy” Woodward is a partner in the South Jordan office of Integrated Wellness. Like his fellow doctors, his decision to become a chiropractic physician was based on a deep personal experience. As a member of the wrestling team his sophomore year in high school, Dr. Randy suffered a severe injury to his neck. After two years of medical and physical therapy treatments, his condition spiraled downward resulting in a 30% loss of strength in his left arm. Eventually, his situation became desperate and through the urging of a friend, he turned to chiropractic. Needless to say, it was a happy ending as his strength was restored and he went on to wrestle again, this time for Brigham Young University in Provo. His experience with chiropractic literally changed his life and led him to the realization that helping others heal was what he wanted to do with it.

Dr. Randy graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Sciences degree, and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer Chiropractic College in Iowa in 1992. For years, Dr. Randy has had a great desire to make permanent postural changes to the spine. As a firm believer that structure determines function, he knows and strives to teach his patients that by changing posture, they can function at a much higher level of health and do not need to become dependent on any form of treatment on a frequent basis.

Dr. Randy has become proficient in advanced spinal rehabilitation and has spent the last several years becoming trained in Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP®) and Pettibon techniques. He completed an advanced certification from the San Diego Spine Institute specializing in soft tissue injuries resulting from auto accidents. As a result, he has been called to testify in trial on several occasions as an expert witness on behalf of the injured. Dr. Randy has also completed a year-long advanced certification as a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Physician (CCEP).

In 2009, after a thirteen-year successful practice experience with his brother-in-law, Dr. Randy joined the Integrated Wellness team. Realizing he had the same passion and philosophy for changing patients’ health by changing their posture, he felt it advantageous to join practices with Dr. Scott Frogley in the South Jordan office, and share in the Integrated Wellness approach to health restoration.

Dr. Randy currently resides in Draper with his wife Jana and their four children.
