"Dr. Chris" J. Frogley graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1981. He accepted a position at Centro Chiroterapico Umbro in Perugia, Italy and moved there with his then family of 4 in April of 1982. They fell in love with the country, but when the couple found that they were expecting baby number three, and the other two children were speaking better Italian than English, the family moved back to Iowa. And, in 1985, Dr. Chris accepted a position to work in his father's clinic in Davenport. When his father, Dr. H. Ronald "Dr. Ron" Frogley, accepted an invitation to return to Palmer College of Chiropractic to serve as Executive Vice President, Dr. Chris took over management of the clinic, and over the next six years, built up the practice, eventually purchasing it from his father.
In 1991, Dr. Chris took a three-year hiatus from the practice as he and his wife, Sharol, were asked to accept a three-year position as Mission President and Matron of the Brussels Belgium Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon returning in 1994, Dr. Chris once again settled into private practice but due to some family health issues, he began to investigate additional avenues of treatment. During the next couple of years, he studied and practiced Bioenergetic Syncronization Technique (BEST), Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET), Neuro-link, Mellor-Jaffe Technique, NeuroModulation Technique (NMT), and also completed 100 hrs. of training in traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. Through all of this, Dr. Chris continued to pursue a degree in Naturopathy as well as a study of Human Nutrition. He has also completed approximately 100 hours of training in Functional Endocrinology, Blood Chemistry, and Neurotransmitters. Dr. Chris is currently working on an MS degree in Human Nutrition through the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
Following the passing of his father, Dr. Chris moved the family to Utah to care for his aged mother in 2006. He has since become re-established in his own practice, Frogley Chiropractic of Utah, PC, located in Providence. Dr. Chris also serves as an associate for Integrated Wellness in Bountiful where he primarily treats allergy, auto-immune disorders, and hormonal imbalances through the use of NMT and other alternative treatment processes.
Most of his patients will attest that Dr. Chris has a profound respect for the miracle of the human body and, that this has led to a never-ending search to learn its secrets and how we can live in harmony with our surroundings and achieve the maximum in optimal health and happiness.
Dr. Chris and his wife of 30-plus years are the proud parents of two girls and three boys, and grandparents of five.
